Created by Elvira Oliveira, the “Lote Cimbalino” is the culmination of Northern Portugal's coffee tradition. More than just a drink, this iconic blend embodies the essence of 'Cimbalino' — a symbol inextricably linked to the culture and everyday life of the City of Porto, also known as 'Invicta'. Its soft, subtle flavour with undertones of cocoa and nuts can enchant any palate, whether you're an occasional drinker or an avid coffee aficionado. This all contributes to its status as a symbol of northern hospitality, making it perfect for meetings and gatherings with friends, family or colleagues.
Cimbalino coffee is an integral part of the traditional Espresso and is part of many people's daily routine, showing no signs of ever changing.
Preparation:
1.Select your favorite blend and chose the grinding more adequate to your machine or coffee preparation method.
2.Dose the coffee to your liking (between 7 e 8g per coffee cup).
3.Preferably use non-sparkling spring water. Always scald your coffee cup (preferably porcelain).
4.Serve immediately. Keep the package well sealed and stored in a cool place protected from sunlight.
If you opt for on-the-spot grinding, the date on the package is the grind date, and should be consumed in a period of 90 days.
