The Cartuxa winery, which is responsible for producing EA wines, was founded in the 20th century by Vasco Maria Eugénio de Almeida. Thanks to his substantial inheritance, he was able to revitalise wine production in Évora. The wines produced today are the result of his efforts.

Should be served between 16 and 18°C / 60.8 and 64.4ºF.
- Grapes: Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet e Castelão.
- Aging: Aged in stainless steel vats for several years.
